The five things without which a package cannot be compared

If you are getting three quotes, ask for these five or you will not be able to put them side by side:

1. Which exact accommodation. Not "luxury villa": which house, which neighbourhood, how many bedrooms and how many real beds.
2. Which exact vessel. Not "private boat": what type and how many feet, and whether the price covers fuel, captain, marina and departure permit. That is where the surprises live.
3. How many nights, and which specific days.
4. How many people that price assumes. A "per person" price with no headcount attached means nothing.
5. What is NOT included. The list almost nobody writes down and the one that causes every argument.

When a fixed package genuinely suits you

Honestly: if the group is small, nobody wants to decide anything and the dates are settled, a fixed package saves time and the markup is worth it. It is the same logic that makes all-inclusive resorts exist. We are not going to claim a package is always worse, because it is not.

When it works against you

When the group is 10 or more. Here everything is charged per unit: the house and the boat cost the same for 8 as for 16. In a fixed per-person package, that saving goes to the seller, not to you. And you pay for pieces you will not use, because the package has to suit everybody.

Why we quote by the piece

Is a fixed package cheaper than an itemized quote?
